MASALA SPAGHETTI

Ingredients:

MASALA SPAGHETTI

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, paprika, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Cook the spice mixture over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it has thickened and the flavors have melded together.
  5. Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the masala sauce. Toss the spaghetti with the sauce until it is well-coated.
  6. Add the chopped fresh cilantro and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and toss to combine.
