INDO-ITALIAN BRUSCHETTA

  Indo-Italian Bruschetta:

Ingredients:

  Indo-Italian Bruschetta:

  • 1 loaf of French bread or baguette
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the bread into 1/2-inch thick slices and brush both sides with olive oil. Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the coriander, basil, tomatoes, onion, green chili, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spoon the tomato mixture over the toasted bread slices and serve immediately.

Note: You can adjust the spiciness level of the bruschetta by adding more or less green chili. If you don't like spicy food, you can omit the chili altogether. You can also add some grated Parmesan cheese on top of the tomato mixture before serving for an extra burst of flavor. Enjoy your delicious Indo-Italian Bruschetta!
